Reception[]
Critical[]
"Karma Queen" received mixed reviews from contemporary music critics claiming the vocals featured on the song weren't up to par and that the song's subject was clichéd.
Nova Van Daan of Sonic Boom gave the song a negative review claiming that the vocals just weren't good at all and that Delilah Byrd's songwriting skills didn't shine through on the song. Overall, Van Daan gave it a 2.5/5.
However, Eleanor Buren of Genesis Magazine gave the song a positive review saying "Even though the vocals aren't as good as we hoped, the song is an absolute club hit that I can picture dancing to at any club." She awarded the song a 7.5/10.
