Geneiveve McLowe gave the song a positive review commenting on it's sound and "deep lyrics." McLowe awarded it a 7.5/10 stars.

Pippa West also gave the song a very positive review saying that "it sounds like a type of song to come out of a Paramore or Coldplay-type band, not a girl group, but that's why I'm obsessed with it." West awarded it a 10/10.

LyricsEdit

Nadia:
Running with the wheels of burning gold, dodging the bullets that scream we’re never gonna get sold,
I’m a chick balancing on the edge of insanity.

Delilah:
A breaking heart, a burning heart, a healing wound,
A relationship’s fate in the hands of doom.
I haven’t had my daily dose of love, and now I’m going crazy.

Shan:
The cracks have closed, so now it’s time to jump the gun,
Our album’s climbing up the charts to number one!

All:
I love playing with fire, and my fingers are now burnt,
Picking up the pieces of my sanity, and yet it still didn’t hurt.
I love playing with fire, a pyromaniac running wild,
And I’m not stopping ‘till the ground is where your house has been burnt to.

Ellie:
Can you hear the feedback from the screeching guitar?
Can you hear the sounds of shots pouring from the bar?
My life is pure; my life is exciting without you.

Tiffany:
And yes, I must admit, you left a hole in my life,
Which no one else could ever fill, no other guy.
But at least the one I have now is better in bed that you ever were!

All:
I love playing with fire, and my fingers are now burnt,
Picking up the pieces of my sanity, and yet it still didn’t hurt.
I love playing with fire, a pyromaniac running wild,
And I’m not stopping ‘till the ground is where your house has been burnt to.

Delilah (with all other girls):
Now the sky above my head is fading to grey (oh, fading away),
The sparkle of the stars is slowly fading away (oh, fading away).
But when I have my girls around me, nothing can stand in my way!

All:
I love playing with fire, and my fingers are now burnt,
Picking up the pieces of my sanity, and yet it still didn’t hurt.
I love playing with fire, a pyromaniac running wild,
And I’m not stopping ‘till the ground is where your house has been burnt to.
